Our Impact & Goals

Light the Path

Our mission is to share our collective breast cancer journeys with honesty, courage, and hope so that no one has to walk this path alone. As five women who have faced the fear, uncertainty, and resilience this diagnosis demands, we are committed to lighting the way for others, offering comfort, connection, and strength through every page. By telling our stories, we aim to make the road a little less overwhelming and a lot more supported for those who come after us.

Together we are writing a book, sharing our stories and resources. Our target publishing date is October 1st, 2026!

Who We Are - Meet the Authors

Emily Rombach

My name is Emily Klempner Rombach. I am from Louisville, Ky and currently live on a small farm in Taylorsville, Ky with my husband Nick and our 2 dogs. I have 2 bonus children: Logan and Kristin. I became a breast cancer survivor at the age of 40 and through this journey have found a passion for self advocacy.

Courtney Line

My name is Courtney Line. I’m the follower of Jesus, a proud wife, and mom of two children: Jansen and Jaycee. I am also a breast cancer survivor, 3rd grade teacher, and a passionate advocate for helping women turn their trials into testimonies. Through my journey, I discovered the power of faith, resilience, and community. Today, I use my voice to encourage women to see their strength, trust God’s plan, and walk confidently in their purpose.

Mia Whitton

My name is Mia Whitton—a wife, mother of two, and grateful follower of Jesus Christ, whose grace gave me a second chance at life as a breast cancer survivor. I live in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, where our quiet home in the woods reminds me daily of God’s love—whether I’m enjoying coffee on the porch, tending our garden, reading, or camping with my family.

Raised as a proud military brat, I carry a deep respect for those who serve, which led me to my role as a contracting Project Manager supporting the United States Army Marketing Operations Command.

At the heart of it all is my family—my husband, our children, and our pets—who are my greatest joy and strength. My hope in sharing a piece of my story is to encourage others facing difficult battles to walk forward with faith and grace. You are not alone—God is with you, and so are we. You’ve got this.

Savannah Dupree

My name is Savannah Dupree.  I am a wife, mother, and breast cancer survivor whose journey reshaped my perspective on strength, faith, and community. After facing the challenges of diagnosis and treatment, I felt a deep calling to turn my experience into purpose. Through wiritng this book we share stories of hope, resilience, and encouragement, with the goal of helping others feel less alone and more empowered as they navigate their own breast cancer journey.

Jennifer Parker

My name is Jennifer Parker. I am a devoted wife of 26 years, a proud mother of six, and a loving Mimi to eleven grandchildren who are the heartbeat of my world. As a retired Army wife and a paralegal of nearly two decades, I have lived my life rooted in strength, sacrifice, and unwavering faith. Nothing tested me more than being diagnosed with breast cancer at 47. In a moment that could have broken me, I chose to fight not just for my life, but for a greater purpose. Through fear, uncertainty, and healing, my faith carried me and revealed a deeper calling to reach back and walk alongside other women facing the same battle. As a survivor, I now use my story to remind women they are not alone, to help them reclaim the confidence cancer tries to steal, and to show that even in life’s darkest moments, there is still light, strength, and hope anchored in faith.

The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.
